Sunday’s Super Bowl 54 featured some of the games rising and young stars.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Fransisco 49ers 31-20 en route to their first Super Bowl win since 1970.

Patrick Mahomes won the Pete Rozelle trophy a.k.a. the Super Bowl MVP.

Mahomes threw for 286 yards on 62 per cent with two touchdowns.

The Chiefs also over came a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win the Super Bowl behind the Mahomes and Andy Reid offence.

What some people might not know is that the Chief’s superstar QB almost became an MLB Pitcher.

Before he even played his first game at Texas Tech, he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 37th round but Mahomes pursued football.

Mahomes tried to model his game after New England’s legendary quarterback, Tom Brady.
