An offer from Kraft Heinz to merge with Unilever was promptly turned down today.

The proposed merger of the two giant corporations would have make them one of the largest companies in the world.

“While Unilever has declined the proposal, we look forward to working to reach agreement on the terms of a transaction,” said Kraft Heinz in a statement, adding they don’t guarantee any future proposals.

The Forbes Global 2000 list of the world’s biggest companies of 2016 has Unilever at #109 and Kraft Heinz at #281.
