Thursday marks Humber College’s LinX Lounge’s seventh annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
Linx, which is normally only open in the afternoons, was open on Thursday from 11 a.m- 2 a.m. for the holiday, serving drinks, poutine and free live music throughout the day.
While some schools like Wilfrid Laurier University have banned activities for the day, Humber College is open for business and giving students somewhere safe to enjoy some drinks.
With security and special training put in place, the pub is ready for anything St. Patrick’s Day may bring.
Tickets into the pub are $7 for students and $10 for all other guests.
