Charity reaches further than most of us would think, and Humber Lakeshore’s newest exhibition aims to prove it.

“We Are All Charity Cases” takes place from March 31 to April 13 in the L Space Gallery, and event organizers say they hope to show viewers that underprivileged citizens aren’t the only ones who benefit from non-profit organizations.

Sports teams, museums and hospitals are just a few of the charitable institutions and services that many people make use of on a regular basis.

Students and other passers-by were encouraged to follow the “journey” through the series of images and text pieces explaining how non-profit assistance follows us throughout our lives.

Patrons also shared their life experiences with similar services on the “response wall”, populated with several reassuring comments from appreciative staff and students.
