Do you find you are always on your cell or computer? Are you the person that sits there staring at a screen while you are hanging out with friends? Do you compulsively check your social media every five minutes?

If you said yes to any or all of these questions, maybe you should consider taking part in a day to unplug.

National Day of Unplugging is a project designed to get people to start living a different life and connect with people and the outdoors, according to the event’s website.

The project is an outgrowth of the Sabbath, an adaption of the Jewish ritual of setting aside a day each week to unwind, relax and reflect.
