Bell Let’s Talk campaign supporting mental health for four years
By Christina Succi
Bell Canada’s Let’s Talk campaign has been raising money for mental health initiatives since 2011 and encourages Canadians to speak-up about the disease.
The company’s fifth annual fundraiser begins on Wednesday.
The prevalence of Canadians with mental health issues is changing conversations about mental diseases across the country.
Here’s how Canada is affected by mental health.
Bell Canada raises money through their commitment to donate five cents for tweets and Facebook posts that include the hashtag #BellLetsTalk and five cents for every text message and long distance phone call made by Bell customers.
The results from the first four years highlight the success of the campaign.
