This Thanksgiving long weekend is jam packed with events for all age groups. The family fun includes everything from Thanksgiving activities to Halloween haunts.
Some events are in Toronto’s downtown core so for those traveling by TTC keep in mind that the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line plans to be shut down this long weekend due to TTC signal work.
The subways will stop running at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, between Bloor and Union station.
The subway will not start running again until 6 a.m. Monday.
To help you get around there will be frequent bus services every three to five minutes operating between Rosedale and King stations.
The University line south from St. George station can be used for riders traveling downtown for an event.
For events taking place outside of the city there are GO train options available.
Events List:
Saturday Fall Foliage Train Rides
Pumpkinland and Harvest Festival
Thanksgiving Food Tour in Kensington Market
Toronto Thanksgiving Day Cruise
