It is not yet known whether Porter Airlines’ plan to expand their fleet into jets will be cleared for takeoff.
At a town hall meeting held September 19 at the Direct Energy Centre, emotions ran high as a divided crowd weighed arguments and viewpoints. Everyone wanted their opinions heard.
An executive panel was present at the event, including project manager Chris Dunn.
Audience members were given the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the potential expansion.
Despite opposing viewpoints on the expansion, it was apparent all in attendance were concerned about their city.
