All lanes on the Toronto-bound QEW are blocked after a five-car crash occurred at 6:15 this morning.
The crash happened on the QEW at the east-bound Burlington Skyway involving a 51-year-old woman motorcyclist who was pronounced dead at the scene.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the motorcycle, along with a pickup truck and two cars were involved.
Schmidt said vehicles are stuck between the closure and the collision, making it a slow drive anywhere in the area.

All traffic is being rerouted to Eastport Dr but many alternative routes are jammed.
Over a thousand vehicles are currently still stuck and the OPP says it unclear when the highway will reopen.
