In dedication of Honest Ed’s, the TTC has redecorated Bathurst station to honour the legendary retail establishment.
Toronto Mayor John Tory, David Mirvish – the son of Ed Mirvish, the creator of Honest Ed’s – and Toronto Councillor and TTC chair, Josh Colle, spoke outside of Bathurst Station at the unveiling of the new temporary exhibit.
Humber News reporter Laura Dart and camera operator Kylie Vaillancourt headed to Bathurst Subway for the unveiling of the display.
TTC spokesman Brad Ross said a permanent set up of the Honest Ed’s theme is in the works.
