The cost to attend a concert has gone up since 2019, which was the last full year with in-person events before the pandemic.
According to a mid-year 2022 report by Pollstar, the average price of concert tickets has increased by 17.8 per cent since the 2019 average cost.
Statistics Canada has reported that there’s an increase of people across the country who are spending on cultural services including live music and concerts.
As the country returns to pre-COVID routines, more Canadians seem eager to attend events that the pandemic deprived them from.
