CD Projket Red’s anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077 starring Keanu Reeves has been delayed once again despite being it going gold which is video game industry speak for a completed game.

The game was schedule to come out Nov. 19 but just five days ago the game was unexpectedly announced that it would be delayed by almost a month, with the new release date being Dec. 10.

Even though CD Projket Red developers claim that this is to fix technical issues, that hasn’t stopped gamers from being disappointed as the announcement for Cyberpunk 2077 was in 2012.

And despite there still being hype for the game, it’s not at the same level as it once was back at it’s 2019 E3 showing.

A mixture of the delays, CD Projket Red forcing 100 hour work weeks and mandatory crunch on their workers despite saying they wouldn’t enforce either, and promises of features that would change gameplay being unexpectedly cut has soured gamers on one of 2020’s most anticipated games.

It’s not just gamers who are down on CD Projket Red but investors as well with the it’s stock dropping by 25 per cent in two months.

The development for 2077 has been a rocky one and it’s important to know why it is so.
