Ontario sets new single-day record with 797 COVID-19 cases

This is the second time in the month of October where Ontario reached over 700 new daily COVID-19 cases.

This marks this month being the only month to not have under 400 daily COVID-19 cases and brings the daily average to 642 new cases per day. Ontario has also seen 48,500 daily tests processed, the most there have ever been.
