4 seriously injured in crash, raising new questions about reckless driving

High-speed car accidents were in the spotlight once again after a crash in Scarborough sent four people to the hospital, one in critical condition.

The vehicle crash happened at McCowan Road and McNicoll Avenue just before 11 p.m. don Tuesday. The car was identified as a white 2008 Mercedes CLS sedan.

The driver is a 20-year-old man and the one who is suffering from life-threatening injuries due to the accident.

The other passengers, two women aged 25 and 21, and a 23-year-old man, were trapped inside the vehicle after crashing into the tree.
