The Toronto Raptors were looking to tie the Los Angeles Lakers’ all-time 16 game winning streak before entering the All-Star break.
Unfortunately, the Brooklyn Nets stopped the Raptors from extending their 15 game winning streak, beating Toronto 110-91.
Before they lost, this was the longest winning streak by any major Canadian sports team.
Toronto is still second in the eastern conference with a record of 40-15.
This latest loss marks an end to a historic milestone for the Raptors.
Humber News Kevaughn Wilson filed a video report about the end of the streak and the Raptors’ performance in this season.
