The Lunar New Year technically started Saturday, festivities in China have halted due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

This didn’t stop Humber College North to celebrate the festivities in their own food emporium Tuesday.

The event allowed students to participate in traditional Chinese activities while enjoying Chinese food, music, and performances.

Humber’s Chinese Student Association and the TZU Chi Clinic teamed up to present students and staff the celebration.
