Photography, drawing, painting, digital and 3D mixed media were the categories presented at Humber’s 33rd annual art show, which was sponsored and supported by IGNITE.

Each category had winning pieces from students that are being sent to the annual League of Innovation Student Art Competition.

Humber is the only Canadian college that takes part in the international online competition, with two students capturing first and second place spots last year, Ruby Boamah, chair of this years art show said.

“The purpose of the [organization] is to spark creativity in students,” Boamah said.

“It was basically made for students who want to have their art displayed and have their art recognized world wide.”

The League of Innovation is an international non-profit art competition where students artwork will be judged anonymously by a group of jurors.

The winners of the competition will be contacted by July.
