Facebook ads targeting potential employees are practicing age discrimination according to an investigation by CBC News.

These ads have set targets that help to determine who sees the ads, usually between the ages of 18 and 40. This causes exclusion for those over or under that age range who may be qualified for a certain type of work.

CBC identified a number of employers who have been identified as posting these advertisements.

However, regulations placed on these ads will occur within the U.S. before they expand to the global markets, including Canada.
