The Toronto Pride Parade took place on Sunday and saw people from all walks of life taking part in the celebratory festivities.

Although same-sex marriage has been legal in Canada for more than a decade and members of the LGBTQ+ community are protected from discrimination under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, not everyone in the world who identifies as LGBTQ+ is afforded the same rights.
