The students who survived last month’s deadly school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida arrived in Washington D.C. ahead of ‘March for Our Lives.’

On Sunday, more than 500,000 people across the U.S. will be marching together.

On Feb. 14 a total of 17 young students and teachers were killed by 19-year-old gunman Nikolas Cruz armed with an AR-15 rifle.

An organization called ‘March for Our Lives’  is a massive teen-led demonstration to demand for stricter gun control and school safety.

“Not one more. We cannot allow one more child to be shot at school,” March for Our Lives posted in a statement.

“We cannot allow one more teacher to make a choice to jump in front of a firing assault rifle to save the lives of students. We cannot allow one more family to wait for a call or text that never comes.”

The timeline below illustrates a string of events from the shooting to demands for stricter gun laws.
