A visiting U.S. medical student and two other men are in hospital today following a drive-by triple shooting near Humber College.
The shooting happened Monday night in the area of Dixon Road and Skyway Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. The incident took place 5.0 kilometers from Humber’s North campus.
Police said that a vehicle pulled up beside the victim’s vehicle at a red light, opened fire and shot them. Investigators believe they were not the intended targets of the attack.
Two were taken to trauma centres, while the third was taken to a local hospital for treatment. As of Tuesday morning, all three are in stable condition.
