Police are investigating after a student died at Humber College Lakeshore campus on Monday morning.

Humber News has learned that a student at Lakeshore campus residence has died.
Andrew Leopold, Humber College’s communication director, emailed Humber News the following statement regarding the death.
“The Humber community is deeply saddened by the tragic death of a student living in Lakeshore residence early this morning.
Humber is responding to Toronto Police Services as it investigates the incident. At no time was there a broader public safety risk to the community.
Counselling support for students is available onsite at the Lakeshore residence. Our Employee Assistance Program is also available to employees.
We have reached out to the family to offer condolences and are respecting their right to privacy.”
No other information, such as the student’s identity or the cause of death, has been released.
