Manitoba’s U16 Men’s Volleyball team swept their first matchup with two wins at the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG).
Team Manitoba defeated Team Wisconsin 25-21. The team also won an earlier game, defeating Wisconsin 25-14.
The winning team is set to play against Team Washington tomorrow at noon.
After their final win, team captiain Phillip Sutherland and coach Jordan Bighorn gave Humber News an exclusive courtside interview about the challenges they overcame and their hopes for NAIG in the future.
