As fireworks are the highlight of the coming Victoria Day weekend, we have compiled a list of nine places around the GTA which host the most happening events to kick off the summer. Each event will finish the evening with a display of fireworks.
If your main focus is fireworks, make sure to be at Ashbridges Bay Park for a soaring 2000-plus display of crackers towards the close of the night — and since the sky is the limit, this is free entry. In order to get into the spirit of the long weekend, a number of these events feature free live music scenes from some of Toronto’s well known indie bands at Mohawk Racetrack and Stouffville’s Memorial Park. Food trucks will also be present at the Dundas Driving Park followed by a parade in downtown Nobleton.
