Licensed Canadian cannabis producers have written a letter to the federal government lobbying for their right to advertise their products.

They don’t want the same advertising freedom as McDonalds or Nike but are asking to at least put their brand labels on their product just as how the Canadian government allows brand labeling on alcohol and tobacco products.

In the same letter, they also ask the government to only tax recreational marijuana and not medicinal.
