The holidays are just around the corner for many people and Toronto is getting ready to celebrate this weekend.
This year marks the 112th annual Toronto Santa Claus Parade with more than 25 animated floats with themes ranging from Harry Potter to the Toronto Raptors.
More than 200 Celebrity Clowns lead the parade and around 2,000 participants march through the city streets.
The parade starts at Christie Pits park, moves east on Bloor Street, down University Avenue to Wellington Street, and east to the St. Lawrence Market area where it ends.
The Toronto Christmas Market starts today and runs until Dec.22.
Fodor’s travel ranked as one of the top 10 holiday markets in the world with the Mill St. Beer Garden, Moose Head Lounge and El Catrin Winter Lounge.
And the Gourmet Food and Wine Expo began on Thursday and is running until Sunday at the Metro Convention Centre.
Sip and savor fine wines and international gourmet cuisine prepared by celebrity chefs.
The Expo offers more than 1,500 wines, beers, spirits and foods to choose from.
