Tributes continue to pour out in honor of legendary singer-songwriter and poet Leonard Cohen, who died Thursday night in Los Angeles.

Cohen touched many listeners with songs like ‘Hallelujah.’

For those, like composer Lou Pomanti, who knew Cohen personally, the leathery-voiced statesman made a profound impact.

Humber News spoke with Pomanti on the morning following Leonard Cohen’s death to find out what memories he has of the late Canadian legend.
