Tow truck drivers began their protest against Bill 15 Tuesday morning at Queens Park.

Several operators attended the rally, but there were many that didn’t show.

Reports on social media said that out of the nine designated routes that the tow trucks were planned to take this morning, only three were actually travelled. The trucks drove along the northeast corner of Keele St. and Wilson Ave., Highway 7/Highway 410 and King City side road/Highway 401.

The bill, initially passed in November 2014, has sparked concerns from operators who are CVOR (Commercial vehicle operator’s registration) certified.

Humber News reporters were at the scene of the rally.
