Torontonians Learn Life Lessons from Local Raccoons

Feb 5, 2016 | Life

A gang of furry, bushy-tailed, masked marauders are teaching Toronto residents a thing or two about life.

From a dead raccoon that inspired a makeshift memorial, a viral hashtag (#DeadRaccoonTO), and a flurry of witty tweets that turned city councillor Norm Kelly into an unlikely superstar to an independent and determined morning commuter and most recently, a heartbroken friend coping with tragedy. The little bandits once thought to be nothing more than a nuisance have been plucking the heartstrings (and tickling the funny bones) of locals with lessons on life, love, and loss.
