Ontario’s Ministry of Health is adding a free nasal spray to its flu vaccination program this year.

The new vaccine is designed to protect against four viruses instead of three, offering protection against the B-strain of the flu which often affects children more than adults.

The vaccine will be available at health care providers, pharmacies, long term care facilities and health care centers.

The nasal mist will be available starting Oct. 26 for children ages 2-17.
