Public Relations and Account Manager for Evangeline PR Taylor Ferri said the World MasterCard Fashion Week is a great platform for new Canadian designers to showcase their work.
“The (clothing) pieces are not translating into sales, but it’s important for new designers to gain publicity through social media handles,” said Ferri.
This year’s fashion event is gaining worldwide recognition on Twitter and celebrities have been in attendance since Monday.
