“Catcallers” get called out

After a catcalling video went viral, Humber News canvassed women across campus to share their feelings and experiences about this form of harassment.
The subject of “catcalling” recently became the root of discussion in light of this year’s resurgence of the feminist movement. There have been debates about what constitutes as feminism and the difference between how men and women are treated.
The Daily Show’s Jessica Williams addressed this issue in a segment called, “The Masters of Sexism” in response to the hosts of Fox News who defended catcalling and even went onto say that it’s “flattering.”
