Photo leaked yesterday by an ISIS Twitter account claiming the man in the photo was the shooter on Parliament Hill

Police are investigating the background of the gunman who murdered Cpl. Nathan Cirillo.
Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, 32, was shot to death in the Centre Block of Parliament Hill yesterday after the killing of Cirillo, who was on honorary guard at the National War Memorial.
It was Kevin Vickers, the House of Commons Sergeant-at-Arms, who shot Zehaf-Bibeau ending his shooting spree in the Parliament Buildings.

Zehaf-Bibeau, who has a criminal record in Quebec and B.C. His record includes crimes such as drug possession, credit-card forgery and robbery (including a robbery charge in Vancouver in 2011). He has spent time in prison on multiple occasions including a three-month sentence for theft and another six-months for possession of a dangerous weapon in 2003 in Quebec.
RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson said in a press conference Thursday afternoon that the gunman was not on the list of 90 high-risk people under investigation by the RCMP.
He said that there is no known connection between Zehaf-Bibeau and the hit-and-run in Quebec earlier this week when a man with extremist ties killed a soldier and injured another.
Some believe that there may be more to Zehaf-Bibeau’s attack than originally perceived.

He is the son of Bulgasem Zehaf, a Quebec businessman and Susan Bibeau, the deputy chairperson of a division of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board.
Susan Bibeau told the Associated Press today that she is crying for the victims of the shooting, not her son.
