The Humber Students’ Federation represents over 27,000 full-time students at Humber College and Guelph-Humber. HSF operates on an annual budget of almost $10 million. Here is a breakdown of the 2013-2014 HSF Budget:
SALARIES:
HSF President: $40,000
HSF Vice-President: $23,000 (via former Vice-President Daniel Pasin)
BUDGET:
Total budget: $9,865,918
Elections budget: $100,000
The HSF Elections Policy also sets a spending budget for candidates:
Presidential candidates: $300 campaign limit
Vice-Presidential candidates: $200 campaign limit
Director candidates: $100 campaign limit
ASSETS:
Student fee: $4,364,094 ($159.79 per semester)
Health and dental plan fee: $5,090,324
