Police caution public about cell phone robberies

Toronto Police Service have issued an alert to the public, particularly women, about a recent series of cell phone robberies in the College Street and Bathurst Street area.

Men are targeting women walking alone or in pairs who may be distracted while using cell phones and headphones.

The occurrences are happening during the hours of 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Police describe suspects as black males, ages late teens to early 20’s, 5’5″ to 5″11″ with thin to medium builds.
