Ontario vs. US youth unemployment rates

According to an unemployment study regarding youth in the workforce, Ontario’s unemployment rate is amongst the highest in Canada.

Sean Geobey, the author of the study, said the issue is a long-term structural problem in the Ontario economy. When compared to the unemployment rates in the United States, Ontario fares similarly in struggles with youth employment.

Oshawa, Windsor, and London are some of the most difficult places for young people to find jobs, but Toronto is not far behind.
