Humber College North campus will be hosting a professional development session, facilitated by the Radio-Television News Director Association and The Media Huddle, on Saturday April 20, 2013.

The session will be an opportunity for broadcast students to learn, engage and connect with established media professionals in the news industry.

The featured panelists are Kym Geddes, news director at Newstalk 1010, Fiona Conway, executive director from CBC News, and John Buffone, executive producer with CTV News.

Four lucky students will be randomly selected through a draw to deliver a one minute pitch to the panelists. After being critiqued, the best student pitch will win an exclusive lunch meeting with Global News journalist Leslie Roberts.

Registration is required and a $20 fee applies to attendees. Humber College media/broadcast students will have a discounted fee.
