A sugar-filled diet won’t just make you overweight, it may also make you mentally slower, according to a recent study from University of California at Los Angeles.

A steady intake of sugar might disrupt the brain’s ability to process information and can lead to poorer memory and learning abilities, said the study published in the Journal of Physiology.
