The Crown has upgraded the charges laid against Rohinie Bisesar from second degree murder to first degree murder in the death of Rosemarie Junor, who died in hospital in December five days after she was stabbed at a downtown Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart.

The change in charges follows new evidence that suggests the attack may have been premeditated, said police.
