Toronto Mayor John Tory spoke at a news conference on April 30 about the The Partnership to Advance Youth Employment (PAYE) challenge, which aims to tackle youth unemployment in Toronto.
The partnership held an interview session with leading Toronto employers, who offer hundreds of young people access to employment.
Companies like CIBC, TD Canada Trust, BMO, RBC, Tridel, Toronto 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games and Teleperformance were among the employers at the session.
