The place to be in Toronto this Saturday night will be BMO Field.

Toronto FC will square off against the Seattle Sounders FC, but unlike any other match played at BMO Field, the winner will host the MLS Cup.

Home field advantage is expected to play a factor in the match, as Toronto FC will have the home crowd behind them, making it a hostile environment for the visiting Sounders to play in.

Toronto FC manager, Greg Vaney, told reporters at a press conference that home on Thursday that advantage played a key role in the win again Montreal last week, which clinched the team’s appearance in the finals, a first in Toronto FC history.

“We expect it will be as amazing as it was last game against Montreal,” said Vaney.

For many Torontoains, they will be pushing for a Reds’ victory, but the Sounders will have their fans make the trip down to Toronto hoping to spoil the party in Toronto.

For the fans in attendance, the weather will be around freezing point.

A low of -5C is expected for Saturday night, with winds expected to hover around 15 km/h.

For the players, however, the cold weather may actually help.

Michael Bradley, a starting midfielder with Toronto FC, says the cooler conditions will not distress the way the game will be played.

“I don’t think the weather will affect anything tomorrow night,” said Bradley.

“It’s going to be an amazing night to play, I think the atmosphere will be unbelievable.”
