Toronto by-election: possible candidates

If and when Rob Ford leaves office in two weeks, Toronto’s council has 60 days to decide who will step in as a replacement.

If they opt out of choosing an interim mayor and decide instead on a citywide by-election, Olivia Chow, Adam Vaughan, Shelley Carroll, John Tory, Joe Mihevc, and yes, even Rob Ford, are some of the candidates that could run for Toronto mayor.
