Nike’s newest announcement of a new sports approved hijab has had many different reactions over social media. Some positive and some critical but many users are saying this isn’t as new as Nike makes it out to be. Social media users take to different outlets chiming in on what the Pro Hijab actually means. Is it just a new product stepping outside of Nike’s norm of cleats and running tights, or is it the beginning of a new culture for diversity with women in sport?
