Bitcoins are now more valuable than gold Business,News,Uncategorized

History was made Thursday.

The value of a single Bitcoin exceeded that of an ounce of gold, for the first time ever.

By Friday morning, the encrypted digital currency was worth $1712.06, compared to $1228.7 for a troy ounce of gold.

Around the same time last year, Bitcoin’s value sat at around $360, nearly five times less than where it’s sitting now.
