A study released Thursday shows a majority of Canadians aged between 40 and 59 are not practicing safe sex.
The findings published in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality surveyed married, divorced, single and widowed people.
Out of the 2,400 individuals asked online, 65 per cent of men and 72 per cent of women reported not using condoms during their last sexual encounter.
