Humber has driven its environmental awareness efforts into high gear as the college hosted the Smart Commute Expo today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A collaboration between Smart Commute – a Metrolinx program targeting gridlock and emissions – and Humber, the expo highlights ways students can reduce their carbon footprint and make more sustainable choices when commuting to the college.

The expo is just one of a number of events Humber is hosting as part of their annual Earth Week celebration.

While Earth Day officially falls on April 22, because most students will be on summer break, Humber hosts their Earth Week March 31 to April 4.
