Shoppers lined up early Tuesday morning to catch the first glimpse of the 50-store expansion at Sherway Gardens Mall.
The 210,000 square foot expansion includes a new food court and multi-level parking lot for more than 1,200 vehicles.
Etobicoke-Lakeshore Councillor Justin Di Ciano said the project will bring a better shopping experience, new job opportunities and benefit the growing Queensway community.
Work on the $550 million expansion is still underway, with stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Samsung and Nordstrom set to open in 2017.
