Measles were spotted in Mississauga.

The Peel Region Public Health Unit released a statement on Thursday evening warning Mississauga residents on the possibility of measles exposure at three different locations throughout the city. A child with a confirmed case of the infection had been to Cora’s Restaurant, Ocean’s Supermarket and the Credit Valley Hospital emergency centre prior to being treated.

Residents are being warned about possible exposure if they were in those locations on March 25. Below, the infographic explains what measles are, tips for prevention and treatments for the viral infection.
