Nike’s newest product ignites different reactions Life, News, Sports

Nike’s entry in the world of hijabs for female athletes is causing a stir in the sports world.

It’s a new product category for the billion dollar company, but they weren’t the first. Other companies such as Capster began selling sport hijabs as early as 2001 and haven’t had the same publicity.

On social media someĀ are saying this isn’t groundbreaking news. Others are questioning whether it’s just Nike stepping outside of its norm , or actually the beginning of a new culture of diversity for women in sport.
