Jokes for Joy doubles fundraising goal

Nov 22, 2013 | Arts

People laughed, cheered and smiled for a good cause at the first ever Jokes for Joy at Humber’s Lakeshore Campus.

The event, a night of comedy featuring five comedic acts, was organized by second year Event Programming students, and funded by various donations from different companies and organizations.

Featured in the night’s lineup were comedians Peter Inskip, Andrew Barr, the Ghandi Sisters, and others.

Jokes for Joy more than doubled their goal, raising $2400 for the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Kara Matthews reports.
